Infiltrative cardiomyopathies are diseases that occur due to the accumulation of certain substances in the heart muscle. They are rare diseases. For this reason, it can be confused with HCM.

HCM is caused by sarcomeric mutations, while infiltrative cardiomyopathies are caused by non-sarcomeric mutations.

In this group of diseases, diastolic functions are impaired in the early period and systolic functions are impaired in the late period.
